On Saturday at Gulfstream Park West, the featured race on Sunshine Millions Preview Day is the $100,000 Millions Classic Preview. Scheduled to be run at a mile and a sixteenth on the main track, the race has drawn a field of seven Florida-bred colts and geldings.

East Hall has been installed as the morning line favorite at odds of 2-1 and is one of two horses for trainer William Kaplan. A four-year-old gelded son of Graeme Hall, the chestnut has been on the board sixteen times and is a six-time winner. He won the Millions Classic Preview last year and ultimately finished second in the Sunshine Millions Classic. He won the Sensitive Prince Stakes last time out and will have Tyler Gaffalione aboard from post position five.

City of Weston trying to stretch out to two turns

Second choice at morning line odds of 3-1 is City of Weston for trainer Peter Walder. A five-year-old son of Holy Bull, the veteran campaigner is an eight-time winner and is a former graded stakes winner. He is stretching out to two turns after sprinting in his recent starts and was fourth last time out in the Trinniberg Stakes. Edgard Zayas will be in the irons and they will break from the rail.

Southern Barbeque looking for first stakes win

Also in the field at morning line odds of 5-1 is Southern Barbeque for trainer Stanley Gold. A three-year-old son of Hear No Evil, he is a homebred for Jacks or Better Farm and has been on the board in five of his eleven starts. He is a two-time winner and will be trying to add a black type victory to his resume. Jeffrey Sanchez will be aboard and they will break from post position four.
