Fortune Pearl has been installed as the morning line favorite in the wide open field at odds of 3-1 for trainer Graham Motion. A four-year-old daughter of Mineshaft, she has been on the board in seven of her ten starts and is a four-time winner. As a sophomore, she won the Delaware Oaks (G2) in her only start at Delaware Park. She is trying to rebound after a seventh-place finish last time out and will have Trevor McCarthy aboard from post position three.

Montana Native making second start off the bench

Second choice at 4-1 on the morning line is Montana Native for trainer Christophe Clement. A five-year-old daughter of Yes It’s True, the bay mare has won five of her nineteen starts and will be trying to earn the first graded stakes victory of her career. She will be making her second start off of an eight-month layoff and was eighth and last in her return. Alex Cintron will be in the irons and they will break from post position seven.

Blue Violey aiming for first graded stakes win

Also in the field at morning line odds of 6-1 is Blue Violet for trainer Larry Jones. Bred and owned by Susan Knoll, the five-year-old daughter of Curlin is a four-time winner and will be trying to earn her first graded stakes victory. She has hit the board once from three starts this year and was third last time out in the DuPont Distaff (G3) at Pimlico. She will get a jockey change to Michael Ritvo and they will break from post position four.
