2/1 morning line favorite My Miss Sophia has not raced since September 1 and will be making her first start for Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott after starting her career in the Todd Pletcher barn. A two-time winner in six career starts, My Miss Sophia raced at the highest level in her three year-old season, winning the Grade 2 Gazelle Stakes and placing second in the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks. The four year-old daughter of Unbridled’s Song will look to regain her best form after finishing 2014 with consecutive off-the-board finishes in the Grade 1 Acorn Stakes and Lady’s Secret.

Woodbine shipper is top class

Trainer Malcom Pierce will saddle the 5/2 second choice, Deceptive vision, who fared consistently well in a string of four stakes races last year at Woodbine. The five year-old daughter of A.P. Indy has won four of eight career starts and finished 2014 with four straight in-the-money finishes including a win in the Grade 2 Canadian Stakes. Jockey John Velazquez takes the mount breaking from post three.

Tiz Windy makes second start off the layoff

Tiz Windy (5/1) returned from nearly a four month layoff to run fifth in the Grade 2 Royal Delta Stakes March 21 at Gulfstream. The Carl Nafzger trainee has 4 wins in 13 career starts with the Grade 2 Indiana Oaks her most significant victory.
